I can see things that are vulnerable and even try to find what is not vulnerable and make comparisons. This helps me understand exactly what is going on and builds a much faster understanding of how secure code is supposed to look.

I can read it line by line, and it gives me a chance to recheck my answers to ensure I am actually doing it correctly. Other useful features are the videos it provides. It has mini-courses with pretty short videos, which are helpful because if I am working on a different project, having short videos is beneficial so I would not have to put too much time into listening to the mini-courses or doing Secure Code Warrior tasks and neglect my main job.

Those short videos and the ability to recheck my answers impact my learning experience effectively because they usually give me certain topics and then ask a couple of questions about those topics, which is very good because it builds my understanding and ensures that I understand what I just listened to in that video. Usually, those videos relate to the specific task or project that I am working on, and my team leader or PM chooses those tasks or videos for me. The way it also makes it effective is by letting me look at the answers and see multiple options, allowing me to build a more comprehensive idea of what the solution could be. I can also see vulnerable codes from multiple perspectives, so if I have one solution that is correct, I can see that I have three other vulnerabilities showcasing the same kind of vulnerability but through different perspectives, which helps me see more examples. This will help me later in real-life scenarios when I encounter similar situations so I can apply what I have learned.

Some of the other cool features that I can find in Secure Code Warrior are the certificates. They are a minor aspect, but I can use those certificates and probably add them to my LinkedIn or CV to boost my profile. However, if I am looking into some other security certificates, it would be better to pursue specialized certificates rather than just sticking to Secure Code Warrior certificates.

I believe Secure Code Warrior Learning Platform is missing the ability to keep up with new things coming up. Currently, there is a lot of AI usage in the market, which brings new kinds of vulnerabilities and highlights the need for focusing on how to handle these AIs, as we cannot completely ban the use of AI in developing websites and other projects. Secure Code Warrior would benefit a lot from adding tasks or core exercises where we can try to utilize AI and LLMs securely in coding other projects.

I also think some of the videos can be a bit more diverse. They feel a bit too similar, so for one topic, there are three or four videos. Perhaps those can be decreased or they can go into more detail. Some of the content stays on the surface level, where it could go into much more detail, which I might understand, but I think some companies would happily want something like this. Additionally, maybe a specification metric could be added where people subscribing to one of those courses can choose how much detail the course would go into.
