We use Zoho Expense for people management through Zoho People, managing their leaves and holidays. We use Zoho CRM for entering sales opportunities. We use Zoho Expense for expenses management. These are some of the use cases.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
Zoho Expense is a good application that is decent and does the expected job.
It is a seamless application that works on the mobile interface, unlike other apps which only work on laptops or desktop environments.
There is a Zoho Creator application through which we can customize the complete workflow.
What needs improvement?
It can be more integrated with cab providers such as Uber. Uber is already integrated, but services such as credit cards and other bill payments could be directly integrated.
When you do any expense and swipe the card, all the details could automatically populate, and you would only need to provide the reason. This would create the best user experience. Instead of returning to home or the office to fill up all the details and verify, it could fill up all the details automatically from the card detail and only ask for the reason. Even reasons could be standardized. For instance, if it is a restaurant, it is obvious the expense is for food. If it is a mobile bill, it is for the operator bill payment. In these cases, AI could suggest the right reason based on previous payment history.
We do not use the GPS mileage tracking feature as it is quite plain and suited for old school people.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using it for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is scalable.
How are customer service and support?
Technical support is also good. I would rate it a nine.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used Expensify before. Expensify had a great user experience both on mobile and screen. Zoho Expense, in comparison, has a plain UI without the wow factor or colors. I would prefer more colors in the interface.
How was the initial setup?
I am not aware of the initial setup because it was already installed when I joined.
What about the implementation team?
I do not exactly know what we do. In my day-to-day interaction, we do not use any specific database. I am not from the developer side, so I cannot provide more details.
What other advice do I have?
I moved into the hardware product.
We are using Zoho Expense and SAP.
We are a user and it helps us with our needs.
It is just more about usage rather than anything else.
Zoho Expense is good but does not have that wow factor.
I do not know the price.
I rate Zoho Expense a nine out of ten.
