Real-time chat has boosted customer satisfaction and improves team efficiency and lead conversion
We could improve with better advanced chatbot customization, stronger AI-powered conversations, automatic deep CRM and third-party integration, more detailed analytics and reporting, additional customization options for chats, and improvements to mobile app performance and workflow automation. Regarding security, it is essential for customer-facing interactions. I would point out the real-time data lag, which is a significant gap, and enhancements in system reporting and live data update metrics are necessary. We also miss deep customer journey insights, along with user interface improvements, mobile widgets, and agent experience enhancements, especially with security and privacy configurations. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate 3CX Live Chat as an 8 because it has excellent control over the PBX license while enabling instant transitions from chat to voice and video calls. The reasons for losing those two points include basic analytics, widget customization options, and limited standalone chat tools compared to its competitors, which have higher market shares. With the right developers, they could excel in this area. The reason I chose the number eight is not only about analytics or customization but due to reliability bugs and agent workflow frictions, which affect the overall reporting coherence. Reliability and security glitches are significant drawbacks.

Stable, easy to set up, and works fine
Everyone in our company uses Cisco Jabber for phone calls and internal chat. We have around 1,000 users. For features like video conferences, schedules, and presentations, we use Microsoft Teams.  It works fine feature-wise. The Cisco Jabber features that we use work okay. There are issues in…

Pros

"Prior to using this solution, there were difficulties with communication between the client and the distributor and our sales team and marketing team, which were improved after deployment because we integrated this voice solution with the video solution and allowed our distributors, clients, and customers to log in to our portal to directly interact with our salespersons."
"It’s straightforward to set up."
"Excellent Windows based PBX constantly updated with new features and great support."
"I’m not saying it’s the best system in the world, but at the price point, it is exceptional value when looking at the features you receive with the Pro licence."
"3CX is easy to use, is quite easy to configure, has a good soft client, and overall, it's a good system for small-scale setups with a couple hundred extensions."
"3CX Live Chat lets me speak with my colleagues and suppliers from anywhere."
"The most valuable features of 3CX Live Chat are the integration with our existing CRM allowing us to get all of the numbers synced together, the communication aspect of the solution was always working very well, the sound quality was perfect, we were able to log into the application to check which users were using the solution and if they were in a call or not, and additionally, the solution integrates well with other CRMs."
"This unit is perfect for small-medium sized businesses looking for a solid and reliable cloud-based telephony system."
"The most valuable feature for me is that it shows who is available and who is not, as well as what their current status is."
"The power of the chat function is good in terms of sharing, pasting, and the like, as it is very full-featured."
"It works fine feature-wise. The Cisco Jabber features that we use work okay."

"Everyone in our company uses Cisco Jabber for phone calls and internal chat."
"In summary, this product worked well for what I needed to do."
"This product makes my life much easier by shortening the distance between my boss and the rest of my team."

Cons

"Yes, we have had many problems with this product, but step-by-step, they fix them, because this is a new product."
"It would be really good to have an expanded range of VoIP handset hardware to include more Cisco phones."
"3CX Live Chat could improve by having better integration with other solutions because we had multiple calls in which information was not extracted correctly. We had to modify their names, and some other data needed to be sorted out for a better understanding of the calls."
"The solution was simple to install, but the configuration was not as simple. The full installation process took a few days."
"Not really much to dislike, the product is solid but you do need to keep your Windows server updated."
"The outbound call reporting and wall board could be improved for the outbound call centers functions."
"For firewall: Its advice is to disable the firewall to allow voice to pass through the network, but there are instants when you don't disable the firewall for security reasons that NAC port comes in."
"In my experience, 3CX Live Chat is not stable, as there are many bugs that have been reported for a long time but remain unresolved."
"There are issues in switching from one type of communication system to another. When I connect my wired earphone or Bluetooth earphone, Cisco Jabber doesn't switch automatically. There are some user experience issues that need to be fixed."
"Cisco Jabber is not a collaborative tool."
"I presume that very small businesses would have a tough time justifying the investment."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Switching from POTS or PRI to SIP Trunk save the customer real costs. ROI is seen in less than a year."
"We used a yearly license depending on the customer's requirements, and the customers did not complain about the pricing."
"There aren't any additional costs. With the license I purchased, I have all features that I need. I don't have to buy an add-on or another license."
"The price of the solution is in the middle range compared to other solutions. There are different license options available. For example, there is a professional version and an enterprise version, and with the enterprise version, you have the ability to modify the dashboards. You can purchase a license at many different time frame increments, such as monthly, yearly, or two years."
"The price of the solution is reasonable. There are a few license options and we are using an enterprise license."
"We have purchased an annual license to use 3CX Live Chat. There are different options available, you can pay monthly or yearly. I am completely satisfied with the pricing of 3CX Live Chat, it is cheaper than competitors and it is a better solution."
"There is no add-on costing on the standard fees."
"3CX sells an annual subscription, but we usually split it out monthly for clients, so they don't see an annual bill for the 3CX licensing, it's just part of their monthly phone bill. As they're paying us for carrier service anyway, we just roll it all together. Your standard phone service would be an additional cost, you either need to maintain a local carrier with POTS lines or PRI or a SIP, or you have to go with a cloud-based SIP."
