Enterprise workloads have run reliably while operations have reduced costs and simplified patching
AlmaLinux is already very strong, but it could be improved in a few areas. Better centralized management and monitoring, easier major version upgrades, and more enterprise-focused automation tools would make administration simpler. Having more integrated tools for patch management, compliance, configuration management, and troubleshooting could reduce manual work for system administrators. The main area for improvement is enterprise management. Better centralized patching, monitoring, compliance, and automation would make it easier to manage large-scale deployments. I would also like to see smoother and more predictable major version upgrades, especially for systems with third-party dependencies. AlmaLinux is already improving in this area through ELEvate and its migration tools.

Centralized hosting management has saved engineering time and gives clients independent control
In my experience, the best features Plesk offers are domain and user separations with strict quota and a great level of configurations for each client. The valuable aspect is that Plesk provides everything in one panel. It includes backups and whatever you would want to have; you are able to configure it. It includes mailing systems, mass mailing systems, websites, SSL termination, different redirects, even different databases and language engines. Plesk is great and easy to use. Plesk has positively impacted my organization by speeding up the release process dramatically and giving clients a level of confidence and independence from the engineering team. This has freed up a lot of time for the engineering team. Plesk maintains a lot of system operations such as system updates, language updates, and keeping different frameworks up to date, which has dramatically improved the business flow and system administration flow.

"We saved approximately 70% of our budget with AlmaLinux, and the system is stable and reliable."
"AlmaLinux has had a positive impact on my organization because the fact that we can customize and offer clients system kernels that correspond perfectly to them, without them needing to go back over them afterward, has greatly satisfied them, and they were very happy."
"Plesk has positively impacted my organization by being very convenient and saving us a lot of time."
"Plesk has impacted our organization positively by allowing us to host multiple domains, and we can manage thousands of websites in a single control panel."

Cons

"In terms of resource allocation, AlmaLinux requires you to have at least ten gigabytes of RAM storage and four gigabytes of CPU allocation."
"I wish host access control in AlmaLinux could be made easier the way it was in CentOS because host access control was not working as expected in AlmaLinux during the initial stages."
"One area for improvement with AlmaLinux is the use of SELinux to secure and harden my server, which I find to be a complicated beast."
"Despite being subscription-free and reliable, I find some complexities in the documentation and troubleshooting guides which are not as comprehensive as Red Hat's."
"AlmaLinux could be improved by having some basic components, such as ifconfig and netstat, pre-installed on the container image, as that would be really helpful for us."
"While AlmaLinux does not provide the same vendor-backed support experience as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the available resources are more than sufficient for many organizations and administrators."
"AlmaLinux could have more software options. For example, if I need some software from Windows or something similar, it is missing some tools."
"Regarding my experience today, I installed AlmaLinux 8, and everything is okay, but the significant problem is that AlmaLinux does not ship with Wi-Fi drivers."
"Plesk should be connecting to Google Workspace, and Office 365, it should be more than just a hosting environment."
"They need to compete with their competitors like AWS and Azure. One example is I would like to see a load balancer feature."
"To improve Plesk, one frustration I experienced was when it raised prices without informing individual users, which put me in a difficult position when needing to communicate these changes to my clients."
"What began as a pleasant experience has become frustrating due to extended billing and no responsibility taken to correct or prevent this from happening again."
"If you are not savvy, there should be an option where the company can add cushions to assist. For example, I should be able to find suggestion options or frequently asked questions easily to help me move forward."
"The most significant case I have for how Plesk can be improved is pricing, as in Poland it is quite expensive for a panel compared to other options."
"Plesk could be improved by making the UI a little more friendly."
"The system can get a bit cluttered if there are too many integrations set up at once."
