Intuitive toolset engages users effectively in agile projects
I would recommend Bizagi depending on the maturity of the organization. For those just starting, it's a good tool to get into business modeling. In more mature environments, I might not pick this toolset because it doesn't integrate with live systems well. Overall, I would rate Bizagi between eight to nine.

It has helped in supporting the development of an Enterprise Data Model
Data model development: This has built-in ways to create multiple, separate solution data models, including ways to link to an Enterprise Data Model (EDM). Other objects are encyclopedia-wide and need a different approach for managing solution-specific diagrams with an ability to query, e.g…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Bizagi is a very useful tool because it does not require you to program, and the user logic is very easy to understand, even for people who are not engineers nor developers."
"Our organization's adoption of Bizagi has greatly improved governance, especially where the role of academic secretariat is involved."
"It can be useful as a tool to improve your communications and the control of your processes. For example, when you have to explain a process to seven or eight stakeholders who think differently as well as have different experiences in different functional departments, it is not easy. Sometimes you are using a lot of technical terms, and other times, you are dealing with management terminology. The visual representation helps you create a better alignment and understanding for different roles and stakeholders of your workforce."
"Bizagi has rich functionalities; compared to other BPMN tools, it has more features."
"The product has a comfortable GUI and a good environment for users."
"The product enables the users to automate the processes and provides a good user experience."
"The solution is very stable; we haven't found any bugs or glitches and it doesn't crash, making it quite reliable."
"With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves."
"It has helped in supporting the development of an Enterprise Data Model."

Cons

"Can be difficult for new users."
"The technical support is not fast enough and should be improved."
"I would like to see simulation as a free feature again. In version 3.3 it was free, but in 4.0 it isn't."
"I don't know if it's a problem with my operating system or a Bizagi problem, but many times I see that when I try to connect different activities, they show up as not connected."
"Their multi-production is a little complicated, despite the fact that they now have Microdeployment."
"However, if you are looking at building an application where 100 developers are working in parallel, you will have issues."
"Its performance needs to be improved. The main thing is that it is limited, especially in terms of the response times."
"It is expensive compared to other tools which I have in the market."
"The product is very outdated software; complex to use, and the GUI is a fat client so no mobile or web access."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
"If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
"The Bizagi modeler can be downloaded free of charge."
"My company uses the free version of the product."
"It has a very high price. Many clients complain about the price for maintaining the application on Bizagi."
"Its price is reasonable."
"It is not expensive."
"Pricing is good value for money."

How easy is it to migrate process flow charts (modeled using tools like Visio) into Bizagi?
I have been using Bizagi with a major project for a state government agency for about four years now. It is pretty straightforward to load in files that are BPMN 2.0 compliant. The option to load V...
What is your experience regarding pricing and costs for Bizagi?
Bizagi's pricing is very aggressive, and it was one of the reasons we chose it. It was less expensive than some of the other tools.
What needs improvement with Bizagi?
I have not explored ways Bizagi can be improved beyond creating maps. If I explore automation and integration with other processes, then I may be able to identify potential areas for improvement. I...
