Auto scanning and enhanced security but re-adding protections need improvement
At that time, we observed certain issues with the product. The functionalities could be improved, such as the isolation feature. If we remove our protection, we cannot easily add it back. If, in our organization, we need to remove a specific system for a particular time, we cannot add it back for security after doing so. This is one thing we have experienced. Scalability is also lacking. If we want to do the same thing repeatedly, there's not much the solution offers; it isn't very strong.

Centralized cloud security has improved DLP incident management and simplifies email protection
One major challenge is that downloading incidents during the investigation process takes a very long time, and this issue should be resolved. More customized columns and filtering options in incident review would be beneficial. File types should be included, such as file names along with file extensions, which are not currently available to my knowledge. Overall, Skyhigh Security is very good and just needs to improve in terms of the latency of downloading incidents.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The auto-scanning feature is quite beneficial."
"What I found most valuable in Skyhigh Security is its stability. The solution also has good KB articles that make it simple for users to do the deployment of Skyhigh Security themselves, without the need for integrators."
"Skyhigh Security has positively impacted my organization; before using it, we needed to monitor cloud applications including Office 365 and other applications such as Facebook manually, and after we started using Skyhigh Security, through the dashboard, we are able to control user monitoring, access control, and everything else effectively."
"Skyhigh for Shadow IT provides us visibility into the Shadow IT, helps us in blocking high risk services, and also in containing the data exfiltration to these high risk services."
"It help us monitor high risk services, blocking them, and also feeding them to our egress points."
"The most valuable feature is the support; it's the best, with a really good strategy and an excellent CASB solution."
"Box API features with DLP capabilities."
"The solution performs well."
"We were able to analyse our user activity, which helped us to identify the associated risks."

Cons

"The functionalities could be improved, such as the isolation feature."
"Scalability is lacking. If we want to do the same thing repeatedly, there's not much the solution offers; it isn't very strong."
"The cloud capability needs to be improved in terms of scalability. More generally, both scalability and performance on the cloud need to be improved."
"One improvement I can suggest for Skyhigh Security is that a better resolution from the Professional Services team, apart from the support team, is needed because sometimes during the weekend, resolution takes time, and reaching out to the Professional Services team is complicated."
"The encrypted disk implementation could be improved. I currently use it from a dongle or USB key with two-factor authentication to access my computer."
"I think that the User Interface could be improved."
"The solution has room for improvement in its DDoS protection."
"They only have English support, so I would like for them to add some Spanish support."
"Skyhigh Security can be improved by addressing the current challenges we face with complex DLP policies that are difficult to manage, particularly in managing the exception rules in a large environment."
"It needs to be more user-friendly, as it is a little bit complicated to use."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Pricing is not out of reach."
"Have a risk-based approach towards pricing."
"The biggest thing to watch for is the difference in price per monitored user for the different API integrations."
"They definitely charge a huge amount. All the security service providers charge a huge amount."
"The solution is quite expensive. As we take add-ons continuously as per our customer's requirements, there are additional charges."
"The price of the solution is good and we pay an annual license."
"It's an expensive solution."
"Pricing for Skyhigh Security is okay, though there's always a scope for price improvements. Its pricing is okay compared to other products because other products have very expensive licensing costs. Along with the licensing, support is also provided for Skyhigh Security, so pricing is reasonable, but if there's proactive or better support, that will justify the pricing. I haven't interacted with the Skyhigh Security technical support team yet, so I'd give pricing a four out of five rating for now."
