Helps to manage and implement DMARC for clients
The product helps me manage and implement DMARC for my clients. It makes the process easy, which is otherwise complicated.  The tool's most valuable features are hosted SPF and DMARC records.  EasyDMARC should improve white labeling.  I have been using the product for a year.  I rate the…

Advanced email filtering has blocked massive spam volumes and prevents unauthorized data leaks
Improvements for Mimecast Advanced Email Security include enhancing the user interface and accessibility, particularly regarding admin capabilities to add or modify user accounts. Streamlining this could improve overall usability and security management for users. Reporting is another area needing improvement in Mimecast Advanced Email Security, as the reports provided are not very easy to decipher. With artificial intelligence being integrated into various tools including Mimecast Advanced Email Security, I believe there is potential to enhance functionality, enabling users to ask specific questions and retrieve concise answers instead of overwhelming data. I choose a nine for Mimecast Advanced Email Security because improvements such as better user interface and artificial intelligence integration features would greatly enhance its usability. While no tool is perfect, these adjustments could greatly elevate Mimecast Advanced Email Security's capabilities.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool's most valuable features are hosted SPF and DMARC records."
"Email security is the most valuable feature of the solution."
"From the tools I have worked with, it is actually the best, and I am happy with it."
"I have been satisfied with Mimecast Email Security as a good solution."
"The setup was easy."
"Mimecast Advanced Email Security has state-of-the-art features and is very sophisticated compared to other partners."
"Mimecast Advanced Email Security blocks everything effectively and provides an update indicating whether you want to release or delete it."
"Mimecast Advanced Email Security is a good product and is very stable."
"The Large File Send feature comes in handy when you have to send fairly large attachments."

Cons

"EasyDMARC should improve white labeling."
"Mimecast need to ensure that the body text format is correctly handled and that images are properly embedded in the body text."
"Mimecast Advanced Email Security needs to improve in this area because they are only focusing on a particular set of problems which is on email and human risk, whereas companies that need a slightly bigger picture will look elsewhere."
"For improvement, I would say some of the catalogs, while navigating, were a little tricky."
"Their support should be improved. They are notorious for sending you to knowledge-based articles rather than actually talking to you, but that is, unfortunately, kind of becoming a trend with everything. In terms of features, I haven't had any complaints. However, I don't like the fact they moved to a paid training subscription model. They used to have a lot of free webinars for training, but they have started to charge for them in the past year."
"The interface and the documentation could be improved. They can also include some more training resources and content like video. While setting things up, I had to search for the information quite a bit. It took me time to find the correct way to do something. The information is there, but it is sort of all over the place. They can create a better help knowledge base or help portal. It retains your email for 45 days. They can maybe increase this duration."
"The system is not user-friendly because you have to create policies that are mapped in a dictionary."
"Many of our users complain that the system is blocking too many attachments. It's a good practice from a security perspective, but our users think Mimecast is doing too much. It might be something we'll have to adjust."
"The detection rates are an area for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Two subscription options are currently offered: monthly and yearly. My suggestion is to opt for the yearly subscription as it can give some discount. The pricing isn't high as other cloud solutions are pricier than Microsoft's offerings."
"The price of Mimecast Mailbox Continuity is expensive."
"Its price is in the middle range. It is a structured licensing model where there are various components that you can add or choose to add or not."
"The licensing costs are per-user for the product that you get with them."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a ten."
"It's an expensive solution."
"Compared to the other products in the market, it is neither cheap but nor very expensive. I would rate it somewhere in the middle, 5 out of 10."
"Compared to the other solutions in the market, Mimecast Email Security with Targeted Threat Protection's pricing is fine."
