Great features, effortless integrations and offers an enhanced experience for users
Some of my current wishlist items for improvements would be to extend the existing timeout setting or have that setting configurable at a user level. Currently, when designing and testing larger workflows, the sessions timeout and re-authentications are frequently required. Also related to the designing and testing of larger and more complex workflows, navigation is sometimes cumbersome. A means of easily navigating and following the various connectors and workflow links would be a welcomed addition.

Integration workflows have become faster and now simplify complex multi-system projects
Regarding data visibility in Oracle Integration Cloud Service, it raises questions about whether it is easy to work with and easy to use, particularly in the visualization of data in the product. I have not used machine learning features in Oracle Integration Cloud Service at all. I have sometimes explored the analytics tools in Oracle Integration Cloud Service, and I think they were pretty helpful and actually good. As for pricing for the product, with one being high and ten being a low price, I rate it as four, indicating it is on the higher side. I am not sure if my company is a partner with Oracle because we mainly work on the client instances. I would rate this product overall as an eight.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The no-code visual front end, along with pre-built samples, allows someone with very little technical ability to get an integration up and running."
"Great for data flow."
"Well-managed version control of workflows and the simplicity in promoting workflows through each environment has aided my team in developing workflows for various environments without the risk of losing development work."
"Being able to seamlessly make changes to how one can do mapping visually without having to be a seasoned developer is great."
"The Flowgear tool is helping us reduce the manual work that is done."
"The solution has increased efficiency and productivity and saved us time and money."
"It has improved our integration with our data supplier."
"The product's initial setup phase is the best since we don't have to do anything. There is nothing like where you need to do some kind of scaling or capacity planning."
"Technical support responds quickly."
"The OIC is very good."
"The out-of-box integration between Oracle and SAP is really beneficial"
"The most important part would be the use of connectors. The significant number of cloud connectors available for active integration is its value."
"The main benefit of Oracle Integration Cloud Service for me is that it makes integration faster; we don't have to write any custom code, and the return on investment is good, allowing us to complete tasks in two weeks that could take three months to do with custom code, thereby saving time and money."
"The benefits of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is in terms of its cost and pricing for an organization and its integration platform."
"They are a very good partner team so I don't think there are any areas of concern on that side."

Cons

"The software itself needs to keep up with the daily demand to service all clients as the need arises."
"Currently, when designing and testing larger workflows, the sessions timeout and re-authentications are frequently required."
"The initial setup was a bit complex as we were new."
"The product needs to improve the self-help tools and samples."
"The product would be nice if it could provide the deployment features in the lower packages."
"The UI could be improved."
"We would like to see more learning videos for beginners."
"I encountered a scenario where the environment had gone down for some time, even in production, and while it used to come up after five to seven minutes, I raised an Oracle SR to understand why it went down during those five to seven minutes."
"Some of the adapters could be enhanced to make integration even simpler."
"There is a payload size limit and we're unable to integrate some legacy applications."
"Oracle Integration Cloud Service can improve file handling. Currently, our real-time file polling limitation is 10 MB, if that size can be increased it would be helpful. For example, increasing the size from 10 MB to 1 GB."
"It's one of the major factors for clients not choosing this product and it should be included in the API CS part of OIP."
"The product has to mature a lot more in terms of features and capabilities."
"Sometimes, the tech support is slow to get back to us. We have had to wait up to two weeks for a response."
"Support at Oracle is good, but not excellent."

"Oracle uses a universal credit model for OCI. Clients commit to an annual budget and can choose which products to use and build during their contract period. Billing is based on consumption - you're only billed for the products you use."
"The price of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is reasonable to start with, but when you scale it becomes expensive."
"In the case of Oracle Integration Cloud, costs can be "predictable" as far as the platform and infrastructure are concerned."
"Its pricing is relatively lower than other vendors."
"The price is fair."
"The price of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is good. It is reasonable and is priced well for the market segment. The model they use is on a per-package unit and we have a two-year subscription."
"The solution is cost-effective."
"It specifies how much data you use and how much storage you require, among other things."
