Automated onboarding has saved hundreds of hours and now standardizes device security globally
In terms of how Ivanti Neurons for UEM can be improved, I think there's potential for automation of some repetitive tasks. The device provisioning process has already become very close to zero-touch, but the patch deployment is still scheduled and policy-driven. As a result, I believe we can reduce endpoint administration further. I also think the number of integrations and the scalability of the tool can be improved, along with customer service, as we've encountered some issues in certain countries. Regarding the needed improvements, particularly concerning integrations or customer service challenges, we have had problems with integration with some third-party tools requiring additional configuration and testing. Occasionally, we also experienced delays between systems, particularly with user group changes and device compliance updates. The accuracy and reliability of output from Ivanti's AI can be improved. We notice that the AI-driven insights are useful, but there are anomalies and some false positives. Since we are still in a validation period, I cannot provide a definitive mark, but I believe that accuracy should be enhanced, especially for more complex and environment-specific issues where human intervention is still needed.

Facilitates continuous assessment of applications, covering both static and dynamic security aspects
Code Dx lacks one aspect, the dynamic security part, known as DAST. It's not an on-premise solution; it's in the cloud now. There are compliance standards and data standards where the customer might need to have the data on-premises for dynamic security testing. So that is one shortfall. An area of improvement could be developing an on-premise DAST solution. The current one is a complete cloud-based solution, and that can be one of the areas of improvement.

Pros

"The solution is good, it's effective in what it is able to achieve and it's easy to use."
"The technical support from Ivanti is good."
"The advice I would give to others looking into using Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management is that it is a vast and very trustworthy application with vast features that you can use for entire endpoint management along with patching and app controls."
"Ivanti Neurons for UEM has positively impacted my organization by providing customers with tools to scan, perform remote desktop functions, conduct patch analysis, and manage software deployment along with network scanning."
"The remote device management feature has helped our remote work strategy because manual intervention is not needed, allowing us to have real-time insights, policy enforcement, and strong security with patch management."
"Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management has positively impacted our organization by allowing us to reduce the volume of daily tasks."
"Its features are very complete."
"Most of the features are similar to what other tools have, but the UIs are quite user friendly. A beginner could use it."
"The customers were looking for something around static security and dynamic security, and in all those areas, they were looking for an industry leader with a proven solution. Synopsys is a Gartner leader, so I position this particular technology for the technical pre-sales part of it."

Cons

"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
"In terms of improvement, I would recommend better documentation. During the time I used it, there were issues with up-to-date patching, and the documentation around those specific errors was quite confusing."
"The MDM, asset management, and software spend management are areas that could have more improvement in Ivanti Neurons for MDM."
"Reporting needs improvement. It is not very useful and lacks depth."
"I think it needs a lot of improvement."
"We have had problems with integration with some third-party tools requiring additional configuration and testing."
"We would like the initial setup to be simpler."
"I also found the UI to be quite complicated to work with, so it takes quite a bit of time to train any new staff and to get them to understand how the solution works."
"The initial setup is a bit challenging because things are not easy. It needs a lot of technology adaptability plus the customer's environment-specific use cases."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive compared to other products."
"The price of MobileIron UEM is very good."
"While the price is a bit high, it may be equitable with the features one gets with the product, such as that involving the interface."
"For the one that works with SCCM, it is relatively inexpensive at $8 USD per node, yearly. The standalone product has two versions; the one that patches servers is about $45 USD annually and the version that patches workstations is about half that price at $22 USD."
"The solution is affordable."
"The license can get expensive if you have a lot of nodes."
"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
"It is more of an enterprise solution for budget-conscious customers. So, it's moderately priced. It's not for everybody."
