Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Comprehensive workflows and data views have supported complex teams but still need cost improvements
JIRA Service Management is costly. The pricing structure needs improvement. When I add some plugins, I have to pay the cost for every user whether they are using it or not. For smaller companies, the detailed workflow editing and the kind of details that JIRA Service Management provides would be complex. For startups and smaller companies, JIRA Service Management would be complex. The cloud offering is easier because I don't have to manage the infrastructure. There are two templates of the project: company-managed and team-managed. Team-managed is a newer feature, which is good for startup-kind companies where they don't need control over data from multiple projects displaying in one dashboard. For startups, JIRA Service Management is somewhat complex with its schemes and everything. Capacity management should be improved in terms of additional features in the next release of JIRA Service Management.

Pros

"Within less time than it used to take, we can automate a complete Apex task."
"We saw a 70 percent decrease in manual steps. If something took 10 steps to do, we are doing it in three steps today."
"Automation Anywhere was easier to learn for the developers. It has a lot of out of box features when it comes to SAP, Excel, and others."
"ROI is good and impressive after using automation anywhere RPA platform."
"Automation Anywhere has helped us save on both time and cost."
"Object cloning with an option to enter wildcard selection was very useful when working in a web application that generated dynamic HTML content."
"The most valuable feature of Automation Anywhere is the automation that frees up time for our employees to engage with customers."
"By implementing it, we were able to solve the issue of automation, which we had almost given up on."
"The tool is scalable."
"The customer portal with connection with our knowledge base has been most valuable."
"I like the history, the dimensioning, and how I can configure a space based on my preferences or the project circumstances."
"Apart from ticket management and workflow, the Kanban board is one of the helpful tools in Jira."
"Auditing team uses this solution to track audit findings and follow-up."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is that it is user-friendly."
"I think the general consensus is that Service Management is a good organizational and solid product."
"Useful for tracking issues with development."
"The user-friendly solution enables business users to extract data in various formats independently. Additionally, it controls access, allowing for data masking of sensitive information within Oracle. These features contribute positively to the user experience, especially from the perspective of business users."
"The solution's technical support is very responsive."

Cons

"The areas in which the product and service must be improved are in the government sector and ministries such as the Ministry of Education and Health."
"When we need to upgrade the bot version for various applications like SAP, the compatibility issues could be easier to resolve. The financial team is using version 5 or 6, but the automation engineer recommends only version 6 because it is more compatible. I think Automation Anywhere could handle these compatibility issues better."
"Technical support is not very good and they sometimes promise what they cannot deliver. They promised us that they would implement multitrigger and according to sources delivery of that functionality is not in their plans."
"We have used the technical support. I am quite unhappy with the support part. The higher priority tickets are not getting resolved within the SLA. Higher priority tickets for production issues should be looked into immediately. However, until they get escalated, tickets are not receiving higher priority. I would like to see this improve."
"I feel that document extraction like IQ Bot can be made more refined so that it may reach its full potential."
"Technical support needs to be much faster."
"I would like more with OCR and data capture."
"Automation Anywhere has to improve its technical features."
"You can use different plug-ins for JIRA Service Desk to add some functionality, but these plug-ins are very expensive."
"The search function could be improved. We have to search a certain way. There is no generic search; it is more object-oriented search."
"Jira Service Management could improve by offering more control similar to Monday.com, such as easier automations, file addition, and sharing with different people."
"If we can have an easier way to deploy this solution without the help of a consultant and a more reliable way of deploying procedures, it would be quite helpful."
"SaaS version for large organizations (more than 2000 users) is not available."
"The interface could be made easier to use. While it is not the worst, there is still room for improvement."
"JSM's ability to handle large volumes of emails isn't great."
"In general, JIRA has no relation to customers or financials. Therefore, marketplace add-ons are needed to make it work for customer-facing systems."
"The concerns where improvements are required lie in the area of finance revolving around aspects like receivables and the general ledger."
"I recommend enhancing the user interface to make the product more user-friendly for business users. Identifying queries that apply to Oracle technical assessments would be beneficial, particularly for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or other specific ready-made packages."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"On a scale of one to ten with ten being the most expensive, I rate the price of Automation Anywhere an eight out of ten."
"Despite being less expensive than UiPath, Automation Anywhere remains cost-prohibitive for many small and medium-sized businesses."
"Automation Anywhere has an advantage in terms of licensing. It is more cost-efficient compared to all other RPA platforms. It is a recommended solution when clients need a cost-efficient automation tool to perform unattended automation."
"We only deal in annual licenses. There are no pay-as-you-go licenses."
"It is expensive. I would rate Automation Anywhere an eight out of ten in terms of pricing."
"In terms of pricing, this is a good product."
"It is not cheap, with costs ranging between 700 to 800 dollars per month. While Power Automate is cheaper at 15 dollars per month, Automation Anywhere offers superior features, user-friendliness, and smoothness."
"It is not cheap, but we are able to get an ROI."
"Costs are about $50 per user per year. JIRA is sold in user tiers of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 2000, 10,000, and unlimited users. It is bad when you have 51 users then the price is based on that 100 user tier. Users at 100 will be the most cost effective."
"I rate Service Management four out of 10 for affordability. The price could be better, especially for companies using more than one Atlassian product. It's suitable for SMBs that can afford it. I don't think there's another tool that's both better and cheaper. All help desk tools are relatively expensive."
"It is one of the premium products on the market, but it is very costly, especially in the Indian market."
"Actually in Iran we don't have copyright or intellectual property, so we can use JIRA for free."
"Do not forget to calculate add-on costs. These cost a percentage of the JIRA purchasing costs and are based on the number of JIRA users."
"It depends on the number of users but it starts at $20 per month per user. I would rate them a three out of five for pricing."
"On a scale of one to five, where five is a good price and one is high, I would rate this solution as a three. It isn't cheap but it's not ridiculous."
"It is a cheaply priced product."
"The tool is cheap, but monthly subscriptions are a bit high."
"I rate the product price a six or a seven on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high."
