Network management and diagnostics improved through effective monitoring and reporting capabilities
The solution is handy. I have not used that particular feature. Maintenance is required for the system. If you want to use something on the endpoints or end-user devices, then using LiveAction LiveNX in place of other tools would be quite beneficial. The solution impacts operational costs and resources. On a scale of 1-10, I rate LiveAction LiveNX a nine.

Unified workflows have centralized ticketing and have provided real-time visibility across companies
ServiceNow IT Operations Management can be improved by focusing on adoption, as some companies still use other tools, and we had to onboard them initially, addressing challenges such as data migration and consistency, especially since we have 14,000 users in my group company utilizing this for multiple purposes, emphasizing workflows defined so that onboarding processes can be streamlined into a single tool. To improve ServiceNow IT Operations Management, I believe incorporating natural language processing is essential, allowing users to type queries such as 'I need this' and receive responses based on AI and data. Furthermore, enhancing analytics is crucial, as we have seven years of data providing a substantial history of past ITSM and non-ITSM business tickets that can help predict and reduce the volume of calls.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We provide a tool for our customers to manage their reports. It's an extremely highly featured platform capable of producing a lot of data. We spent quite a long time working with customers and LiveAction to create template reports, and they're very good and configurable. You get a lot of data if you don't configure them."
"There are many positive attributes, and it's the best of the best."
"The intention and the idea of the filter is great, but it is far, far away from good and perfect."
"We don't have any complaints about the software. According to my team, it's a very good tool that's very intuitive."
"If you're looking for a tool that will solve your problems in a short period of time more effectively, LiveNX is the right tool."
"Its analytical capability is really good."
"On a scale of 1-10, I rate LiveAction LiveNX a nine."
"One of the valuable features is the ability to create CLI scripts on the fly to fix any issues. We were using it for QoS modeling to ensure that we were properly modeling QoS, and it basically said here is what you need to fix to get this QoS done, whether it is ACL or something else. It would either push or recommend. If you have the right credentials, you could also push. It is very good if you are a Cisco shop. It gives you reporting, latency, and bandwidth utilization for your applications, so you can do good capacity management planning. There are a lot of pieces that LiveNX can give you. It is a total NPM solution for SD-WAN."
"Provides everything in one solution."
"It provided out-of-the-box integrations, requiring only minimal effort, typically a couple of days, to massage those systems into a seamless operation."
"The solution allows you to subscribe to the features you need and utilize CMDB, ITSM, and discovery on the same platform."
"The impact of ServiceNow IT Operations Management's configuration management on service quality has been significant, as we implemented a common platform for the Adani Group, which is a large company, and we have Adani Wilmar with close to eight or nine separate business units covering oil, gas, steel, and real estate, all having different features and functionality, while keeping the overall process and configuration the same to reduce the run maintenance cost of the overall group company and within Adani, ensuring a single source of truth."
"I like the tool's CMBD connection with Discovery. The solution is also flexible."
"The reason is it's cost-effective, number one."
"The scalability of ServiceNow is good."
"The solution is easy to use and has great orchestration and automation capabilities."

Cons

"They have some unique functionality but they need to create a more simplified UI."
"Improved documentation and more responsive customer support can help in addressing issues faster."
"My advice to others would be to run away from it. This is a slight exaggeration but this is more because the application is horrible, the stability is horrible, the performance is horrible and the support is horrible."
"The customer service and technical support of LiveAction LiveNX are rated at 4 out of 10."
"It is not as robust as other NPM solutions. For instance, there is a problem while labeling specific applications. It works well with well-known applications, but when you have to put in new applications that are not very known and set them up with names, ports, URLs, or some protocols, it is not as intuitive."
"The only downside to this software is the price; it's a very pricey solution and very expensive, and it requires a good amount of resources in terms of server memory."
"Maintenance is required for the system."
"Sometimes the solution does not register devices properly and that is a bug."
"There are not enough apps in the app store to expand functionality. There should be more made available."
"The pattern part can be improved. Patterns are used in the Discovery feature."
"The vendor support rates between five to six because it takes a lot of time to get issues resolved, whether minor or major. For minor issues, the team takes a month's time to provide a fix."
"At times, it got cumbersome from the project management perspective."
"ServiceNow could be more prescriptive on how customers can leverage some of the benefits."
"The tool can be improved by including more detailed information to assist new users."
"There is room for improvement in service mapping within ServiceNow ITOM. When we have more time, we'll look to extend that and apply it to business-critical services like email."
"The CMDB part of ServiceNow IT Operations Management is a little bit too complicated, and it is a bit slow at our company."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is fairly expensive compared to other products."
"We use the free version."
"It's very expensive."
"The solution offers yearly licenses and a subscription model for add-on features."
"It is expensive. It is around 10 Euros per server per month."
"The cost of ServiceNow is much higher."
"There are additional costs, you have to pay more for everything."
"It is moderately expensive. The pricing itself and the licensing options are depending on the model and the customization."
"The price of ServiceNow IT Operations Management is expensive."
"ServiceNow IT Operations Management is a costly solution. I'd rate the price at ten, on a scale from one to ten with one being the lowest and ten being the highest price. Some clients do have a problem with the price, but most find that the solution is worth the cost."
"It has different subscription models."
