Have faced limitations in compatibility and performance but it helps monitor and improve security practices
There are some technical limitations where certain features might support Windows but not Android devices. The compatibility between Windows and macOS also shows significant differences. Microsoft continuously works on improvements, and when we find issues and report them to Microsoft, they address them. To get full benefits from the EDR solution, Microsoft EDR solution needs to be set as the primary antivirus in the system. Without this configuration, many features cannot be accomplished. A specific example occurred in a recent project where the requirement was for emails sent outside the organization to require manager approval before being sent. While the approval system works on Windows, it does not support Android devices, limiting the functionality on mobile platforms.

Rapid compliance program development simplifies complex startup environments
The implementation of OneTrust could have been smoother, particularly in terms of scoping for those outside of governance, risk, and compliance. It can be confusing for individuals who need to understand the scope of regulatory controls and requirements. This complexity can be frustrating both internally and with implementation experts. Additionally, scalability can be overwhelming for smaller organizations.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft Secure Score's most valuable feature is identity."
"One of the most beneficial features of the product has been its cloud-based IT and vendor risk management tools, along with built-in templates for GDPR and ISO compliance."
"As a solution for IT risks, it is a very good product."
"The product helps us streamline audit and incident management processes."
"The platform is especially useful in startup environments where we're typically starting from scratch."
"We receive notifications or cases and prioritize them accordingly, which helps us address issues promptly."
"OneTrust GRC is stable."
"The simplicity of OneTrust GRC, particularly its user interface, is valuable as it makes it easy to use and not complex."
"One of the valuable features of this solution is it has the ability to review fourth and fifth parties to the nth degree."

Cons

"They could indicate whether a recommendation aligns with different compliance standards."
"There are stability issues present, as with any tool."
"They could improve by offering free help. A solution, a lot of times, is not just the use of the solution. For example, it is the overall engagement, how well do they support the system, what is their SLA, and how long their response time is to an issue. It would be beneficial if they had some type of professional services where they offer the first five hours of professional services a year for free. That would be a substantial benefit rather than having to buy professional services or professional services packages."
"I haven't seen any return on investment using the solution. If I had the opportunity, I would use a different solution."
"They could improve by offering free help."
"There are limitations to customized workflow automation, and they need to increase both the available automation and the customized workflow."
"The Vendor Risk dashboard is quite basic today and not interactive, but improvements are in coming the next releases."
"The implementation of OneTrust could have been smoother, particularly in terms of scoping for those outside of governance, risk, and compliance."
"There could be enhancements related to AI."
"For the Vendor Risk Module I see only minor functionality improvements needed."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product pricing is reasonable."
"OneTrust GRC's licensing costs about $15,000 per module."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is too expensive, I rate the solution a seven since it falls under the pricey side."
"The platform is expensive."
"I found the pricing and setup cost very reasonable."
"The solution is expensive."
"OneTrust GRC is an expensive solution."
