Unified sign-in has simplified access control and has supported end-to-end identity lifecycle
The authentication process is good, but sometimes the responsiveness to requests for enhancement is very slow. I sometimes face issues with platform stability, flexibility in configuration, and limited API availability. I experience downtimes two to three times per year. OneLogin's support team is sometimes very slow to respond. There is a feature limitation with mapping, as OneLogin does not provide one-to-all mapping. For client deployment, we need to create separate mappings for each request, and we cannot use the same mapping for multiple requests. Other areas that have room for improvement are related to API limitations. If a client requires more APIs, such as 5,000 or 6,000, OneLogin charges more. The API rate limits by default or the standard limit should provide more than 5,000. Additionally, OneLogin could provide more flexibility in configuration. These are the main limitations I have identified with OneLogin.

Efficiently manage applications with secure single sign-on and streamlined operations
Access Manager allows us to efficiently manage a broad spectrum of applications while ensuring secure, single-page application access. Its ability to consolidate applications on a single interface streamlines operations significantly. The product is highly secure and reliable, especially in managing user access across various platforms. Multi-factor authentication enhances security by requiring additional verification steps.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have observed approximately 45 to 50% fewer password-related support tickets, faster user onboarding by nearly 60%, and reduced errors."
"My impressions of the user identity synchronization across directories functionality are that OneLogin is used for secure access to campus resources including data and apps, ensures fast access and easy authentication while blocking regular or unauthorized access, allows third-party integration, and is a comprehensive identity and access management solution designed to streamline workplace authentication and authorization."
"Since implementing OneLogin by One Identity, the biggest positive change I've noticed is how much smoother and faster my workday feels."
"OneLogin has positively impacted our organization by improving both security and operational efficiency."
"Around 30 to 40 percent of time is saved since using OneLogin, and the error has been reduced because a single login manages all the applications, significantly cutting down on errors."
"Overall, OneLogin by One Identity is doing a very good job in helping customers manage their identities, which is one of the most critical attack surfaces nowadays with the growing threat landscapes."
"OneLogin has positively impacted the organization by improving security, simplifying access management, and reducing password-related support issues."
"OneLogin has positively impacted our organization by improving security and user experience by simplifying access to business applications through single sign-on while also reducing password reset tickets and manual account management for the IT team."
"The solution is able to save time and resources for my clients."
"I rate Oracle Access Manager a nine out of ten."
"Oracle Access Manager is a very efficient solution if you're working with Oracle applications like ELT, and so on."
"Overall, I rate Oracle Access Manager nine out of ten for its extensive capabilities."
"I find the authentication module, authentication scheme, and security policy most useful in Oracle Access Manager."
"We have not had issues surrounding any failure or instability, and we use it with remote work to access our applications from anywhere, 24/7."
"The MFA is the most valuable aspect."
"In general, the customization that is offered is very good, and the company that I am working with currently is using this feature quite extensively."

Cons

"One thing that can be improved is that we got some false positives when remote employees were switching networks in the first week, which took some time to fine-tune and settle as per our environment, so that can be more simplified in the initial start."
"OneLogin could be improved if there were easy configuration options."
"I think one area for improvement would be more granular reporting, such as custom dashboards or more detailed audit logs."
"The areas that do have room for improvement include a learning curve."
"If not, I don't think that's a product that should be released for Mac because you can't do patching and postpone the patching just because they still haven't figured out their tool."
"The solution keeps going down for many hours, which impacts the entire company."
"OneLogin can be improved in several ways."
"This product doesn't necessarily provide us with all of the functionality that we need, such as being able to share passwords with external users."
"I suggest Oracle make the integration process for non-Oracle applications as straightforward and easy as it is for Oracle applications."
"The solution's lifecycle management is troublesome. Also, another area of issue in the solution is the part involving documentation of certain features."
"Customer Service: Poor. The EBS Access Gate support was delivered as a patch and support was not able to solve various problems, which I believe to be attributes to more current versions of OAM and WebLogic not being backwards compatible with the documented solution."
"The pricing of the solution is in need of improvement. Oracle products are very expensive."
"In the next release, they should focus more on use cases related to customer access management, customer identity, and access management."
"There are problems with stability."
"Now they have changed support locations and customer support is not as good."
"Technical Support: Bad, when we have problems Oracle Support doesn't fix it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
"The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
"We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
"Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
"The price of the licensing is fine."
"It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
"OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
"Can be expensive as a solution."
"The tool is affordable."
"On a scale where one is a high price, and ten is a low price, I rate the solution a one. Purchasing a license for the solution is very expensive now."
"The product is a little expensive."
"The price is really good and it is flexible because they have CPU licenses. The license is a one-time-only purchase."
"I cannot comment on the exact pricing because Oracle has different licensing models for other clients, making it flexible."
