An easy-to-use tool that saves time and functions within a limited budget
The solution's reporting system should be clearer and easier to understand for a layperson. I and some other experts may be able to understand the solution's reporting system, but a layperson won't understand it. For a layperson, the solution should be easy to use. Price-wise, TestProject is an expensive product. The product's current price should be lowered to attract potential customers.

End-to-end regression automation has accelerated delivery and now secures complex test data
I think Tosca can be improved, particularly in AI capabilities because right now Tosca does not have any strong API capabilities. It has some AI features in the newer version, but many organizations have not adopted these due to version-specific problems, as some are still using older versions. From an AI point of view, they can enhance reliability since the world is moving towards AI, and every tool must be integrated. While Tosca has made attempts, I have not used them and they are not widely adopted, so they are stuck in the testing phase in my organization. I would also mention that while I am currently using Tosca Mobile, the loading part and connectivity issues need improvement. They should better integrate AI features that are already present but not widely used across many organizations. Reliability on the AI aspect needs enhancement for practical application. From the perspective of governance and security, I believe Tosca can develop its own LLM or leverage third-party LLMs while maintaining security and risk management regarding client data. Many companies prefer using Tosca due to data security, which is crucial. An in-house LLM could significantly enhance its debugging power and provide helpful solutions upon test case failure.

"As a codeless automation tool, the product offers a user-friendly experience without requiring extensive coding knowledge. Users can easily handle various applications, including web applications, SAP applications, Windows applications, and even Salesforce applications, without manual coding."
"Licenses are expensive, but they are worth using."
"From the commercial tool perspective, Tosca is a leader in every aspect."
"The most valuable features of Tricentis Tosca are the Salesforce scanning. There are two scanning for Salesforce applications. There is Salesforce scanning and normal application scanning. Object identification has been really useful in Tricentis Tosca."
"The low code is the best feature, and clients like it."
"I would recommend this solution to others."
"We have to automate thousands of test cases and complete end-to-end SAP on business processes. To manually execute these tasks, it would take us at least two months. By automating these tasks using Tosca, now it takes five to 10 days maximum. Tricentis Tosca is a codeless or scriptless automation tool."
"Test case automation and ease of test case maintenance through Tosca has reduced the manpower needed for testing, reducing the time needed for testing, and has thus saved money."

Cons

"I and some other experts may be able to understand the solution's reporting system, but a layperson won't understand it."
"In an upcoming release, there should be a SaaS offering available."
"Technical support is an area they need to work on, they are too slow to resolve issues."
"The support is a weak point since they discontinued the tool."
"We'd like to see a direct cloud from TestProject instead of some other third party."
"A company would not be able to scale with just this solution."
"I have had some difficulty trying to configure it on several browsers."
"Difficult trying to configure on more than one browser."
"Licensing needs to be packaged and not too granular at the component level."
"The UI does not have the option of automating the scroll bars."
"The solution should work to try to lessen the cost of the solution. Right now, using it is costly for companies such as ours."
"Security, UI, and basic performance improvements could be done to the product to enhance its use."
"First, Tricentis could improve Tosca's Linux scripting. We can automate Linux scripting, but there are a few commands that Tosca doesn't support. DVS support and the object identification mechanism could also be better."
"Upgrading from one version to another requires maintenance and rework in existing scripts. This is too much for my taste."
"It would be of great help if they can fix the loading or performance issues."
"A disadvantage of Tricentis Tosca is that you have to customize it according to your need, during the early stages of the software, particularly during upstream testing, before system and unit testing."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is free."
"Price-wise, TestProject is an expensive product...With TestProject, there is a need to pay a certain amount towards its licensing costs."
"Tricentis Tosca is not expensive at all."
"A competitor of Tricentis Tosca: Katalon Studio, is very similar and offers lower pricing, though Tricentis Tosca offers more features and benefits."
"The price of Tricentis Tosca is approximately Є10,000 for one license. However, it used to be much cheaper, but they changed their license structure. It used to be a structure where if you bought a license you would receive one year of free support and maintenance. Now they only have a yearly license, and that is expensive."
"They are probably more expensive than other comparable tools, but you also get the full suite of testing tools."
"The tool is quite expensive."
"The pricing is high, but altogether it offers you the ability to automate all sorts of applications: desktop, web, mobile, etc."
"Expensive, but for long-term projects, it is paying back."
"Licensing fees are paid on a yearly basis."
