My main use case for Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform is observability, observing my pods and containers and performing admin work such as setting up Cron jobs. In my day-to-day work, I created a CLI tool that allowed me to use a combination of Rafay and AWS. The AWS CLI tool built a way for me to trail Kafka logs in real-time from my Kafka containers that held my Kafka consumers and producers. I streamed the logs out from them and used the CLI to automate viewing long-tail logs for Kafka from Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform. Regarding my use case with Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform, I have created Cron jobs and updated YAML files in the actual containers and pods. I have spun up and spun down different pods, scaled them up and down, and turned them off as well. I perform this work via Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform.

Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform serves as my main platform for centrally managing and automating Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments, including multi-cluster management, cluster provisioning, RBAC access, GitOps, and continuous delivery. I have configured application deployment and migrations from typical virtual machines to the containerized platform, and I perform day-to-day operations tasks on Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform. I can provide a specific example of how I have used Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform over the last one year. One task I regularly worked on was deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters through Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform. Instead of logging into every cluster individually, we used Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform as a centralized management platform. For one project, I provisioned a Kubernetes cluster on VMware. After the cluster was ready, I checked the health of the nodes and system pods, configured namespaces for the application team, and helped troubleshoot a pod that was stuck in a pending state due to a storage configuration issue. I worked with the team to identify the root cause, updated the storage configuration, and verified that the application deployed successfully. These are all the day-to-day related tasks I have performed on Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform.
The product that I'm working on requires testing on different Kubernetes clusters, and the major ones we have are AWS, GCP, AKS, DigitalOcean, and some others as well. Earlier, we had to go on every cluster to get access, manage, and test for different clusters for our product, but as soon as we started using Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform, it provided us with a single dashboard with multi-cluster support for different platforms, making it really helpful because the hassle is gone now. We don't need to worry about different clusters as we have a single dashboard. In our case, we manage multiple public clouds where we create our Kubernetes clusters such as GCP, AKS, and AWS. We found Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform to be a very useful platform for managing all those clusters because it provides us with a single dashboard through which we can manage all the different Kubernetes clusters that we have.
