I've used Albato for over a year to automate repetitive workflows. My main use case is web scraping: automations that crawl Indeed job listings and deliver the results to my email and Google Sheets.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
Albato has noticeably increased my productivity by taking over repetitive manual work. I'd estimate it cut the time I spend on those tasks by about 30%
What is most valuable?
Albato's biggest strength is the sheer number of available connectors. The Google ecosystem integrations (Gmail, Sheets, Forms, Slides) are the ones I use most. I also like the flexible builder: single or multiple triggers feeding into multiple processing and output steps, with flexible field mapping. The AI assistant for building automations is promising but currently too slow to be useful.
What needs improvement?
Two things: speed up the AI agent's response times, and simplify the setup, which can be time-consuming and tedious for more complex automations.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Albato is very stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability is very good; I can run as many processes as I need.
How are customer service and support?
I have not needed support often, but when I have, the experience has been excellent and very responsive. 9 out of 10.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
No, Albato was my first commercial solution.
How was the initial setup?
Straightforward for simple automations; more complex setups take time. The AI setup assistant is currently too slow to help much.
What about the implementation team?
Close, just fix the spelling: "Albato is a SaaS, you just create an account and log in. No third party is needed.
What was our ROI?
I don't have hard metrics, but the manual effort on these processes is now close to zero since Albato handles them.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Pricing and licensing are reasonable, and getting started on their hosted platform was fast. Building more complex automations takes more time, as noted above.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
What other advice do I have?
I rate Albato a 9 out of 10. My advice: expect a small learning curve if you're new to automation, since some concepts take time to grasp. Beyond that, it's a very strong automation tool with an excellent range of connectors.
