Hourly orchestration has cut idle compute waste and gives our AI teams rapid on‑demand training
CloudDat is a great solution and has given us a great return. One thing as a suggestion is that while tracking the hourly usage is very precise, the dashboard threshold alert can sometimes experience a lag of ten to fifteen minutes. This occasionally makes the proactive cut-off automation tighter than ideal. For example, if I am opting for a two-hour auto cut-off, sometimes it is detecting that it is there, and there is a fifteen-minute lag. The cut-off is basically either fifteen minutes before or fifteen minutes after. There is a chance of a mismatch in the billing due to this, which can be improved. The rest is fine. The billing issue which I highlighted is something very critical sometimes. When we are a regular customer and we are working with CloudDat, sometimes it is very disappointing to see that there is a lag in the subscription. This is why I have given it a four.

Has enabled secure, centralized file sharing while saving significant time and resources
The best features in GoAnywhere MFT are that it's fast, reliable, and secure. First, the improvement is that we have resolved one of our security points with compliance. So that compliance point we resolved. And also it's a centralized file sharing system. All the users are able to access the file. There is no one-to-one sharing. It's improved about 80 to 85%. It saves about 80 to 90% resources. In terms of time, we can say 90 to 95% time is also saved because it avoids the one-to-one sharing and simply a user can put one centralized directory and all the users are able to access this solution and access the file. So it's 95%.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CloudDat has reduced our infrastructure spend by seventy-two percent as compared to our previous baseline reserved instance approach."
"Time-saving is one of the most crucial and one of the best features over here in CloudDat."
"The best features of GoAnywhere MFT are its automated process capabilities; it is scalable, reliable, and requires minimal time to receive files from external to internal systems, and it is more secure compared to other tools."
"Whenever a student has uploaded his or her data on our website, it is automatically sent to the universities, and no manual work is needed anymore, so I appreciate this as the best feature in GoAnywhere MFT."
"The automation of GoAnywhere MFT is the best thing about it, and the interface of this software is also really easy to use for me and my teammates, which really helps us transfer files within our organization securely and automates the whole process for us, making it really easy."
"GoAnywhere MFT has positively impacted my organization by improving transfer reliability, reducing manual file handling, and helping to standardize secure data exchange processes across different teams and external partners."
"GoAnywhere MFT's connectors are very important to my daily operations because the flexibility to connect to different third-party applications makes GoAnywhere MFT shine compared to other MFT solutions."
"The solution is easy to learn and user-friendly, which makes it accessible even to those without programming backgrounds and extensive scripting training. Newcomers can quickly get to grips with the platform, and as it's a more object-oriented application, it's easier to use and program."
"It is probably the best software that I've had for the money that we spend for it."
"This solution has improved my organization significantly."

Cons

"The billing issue which I highlighted is something very critical sometimes."
"Improvement-wise for CloudDat, I think some days there is some latency."
"There are a number of built-in tasks in GoAnywhere. One, in particular, the write to CSV task, is slow. If you have, say, 100,000 records in your row set and you want to write them to a CSV file, it takes a long time. That definitely requires performance improvement."
"I experience occasional downtime and some glitches."
"On the platform side, I would like to see some improvements in the dashboarding and telemetry data."
"There is a function referred to as write CSV, to write a general text file. In this scenario of creating a simple text file, I ran into a situation where, if the product saw a quote or a double-quote in the data, it started wrapping all the text fields in double-quotes. The request I put in asks them to provide a feature that leaves my data alone and does not interpret anything."
"The UI of GoAnywhere MFT could be more modern, and some advanced workflow configuration and troubleshooting steps could be made easier for administrators."
"The application uses resources such as network connections to shared directories or SFTP connections. I would appreciate seeing utilization metrics for these resources."
"I think the pricing for GoAnywhere MFT is expensive."
"I'd improve the UI and the file-sharing aspect because the UI needs lots of improvement because it's very confusing and it's good for the technical person, but any non-tech person who is going to use that, they get confused."

"The product is not cheap, but it is not expensive."
"The cost of GoAnywhere versus the value it brings to our data transfer operations is reasonable... The cost is relatively expensive but, back to the car analogy, that's to be expected with a Ferrari."
"The pricing for GoAnywhere MFT seems reasonable when compared to other similar services, especially cloud services. Azure is significantly more expensive."
"GoAnywhere was the most attractively priced product that met our needs. In our PoC it really came down to MOVEit and GoAnywhere, and GoAnywhere's pricing was about 30 percent less."
"Pricing is based on a one-time license."
"Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT pricing is competitive."
"Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT carries a higher price tag than other MFT solutions."
